What Do I Do If My Furnace Won't Ignite?
There are limits as to what should be done or even recommended with gas furnaces. The furnace could be inoperable because of a safety protection. Clear Comfort strongly recommends that customers limit troubleshooting gas furnaces/appliances. However, there are a few of things customers can check.
- Check to make sure the thermostat is calling for heat.
- Power is turned on to the furnace – breaker is not tripped or turned off and furnace switch is on.
- The gas valve is in the open position located at the furnace.
- You can also call your provider to make sure they have not turn off service to your house or business or are doing work in your community.
After checking those items, give Clear Comfort a call, we will safely and thoroughly fix your problem.
